Today we painted the nursery. My husband was nervous about having me help him paint while being pregnant but as long as you make sure it is VOC low fume paint you're fine. i couldn't even smell any fumes. I talked with my interior designer friend and someone from Sherwin Williams; both had researched this type of paint and had used it when they were pregnant. We painted the whole room a light blue/grey eggshell. Next up we are on a mission to have 3 feet tall letters of our son's name stenciled on the wall. They will have a unique design to them and we bought two darker shades of blue from the same family as the base color with a high-gloss to paint the letters. This will really make the letters pop out. The trick will be if my husband and I are actually able to do this because it seems a little tough. As long as I am able to order large stencils online I should be ok. Painting the room made everything feel a little more real! I was six months last Sunday!

Asparagus with balsamic drizzled on top

1/8 slice of sugar-free angel food cake
