It is summertime and that means lots and lots of picnics! Tonight we are going to my mother-in-law's for dinner. She's usually very considerate of my needs and tries to buy foods that she knows I'll eat. Sometimes I get nervous because they live out on a farm (and not to stereotype!) but because they do so much manual labor they are able to eat whatever they want. This usually means fried foods, mayonaise, butter, and DESSERT! I usually just keep my fingers crossed that she'll have a few options I can eat because I would never want to offend her. Luckily, she's very thoughtful and always tries to do some sort of grilled meat, fruit, and veggies. If you're in this predicament what would you do? Sometimes I have brought a veggie burger, just in case.
Tomorrow is move in day. Find out what I did to stay healthy even when I was "on the run."
