My tip of advice today is to try and stay as positive as you can during the holiday season. I know this is easier for me to say because I absolutely love the holiday's - I'm sure I wouldn't if I had lost someone close to me or something negative happened in my life during this time of year. However, like I've mentioned in many previous posts, stress and mood definitely play a huge factor in weight loss. Today my husband and I tried to beat the rush and get some of our Christmas shopping done early. I was amazed out how many people had the same exact idea as me. It was clear that sales clerks looked overworked and overwhelmed. I know that it is easy in the hustle and bustle to get irritated with people; especially those that are being rude. But, I try to remind myself that I don't know what sales clerks and other shoppers have been through. Maybe something happened in their day that I don't know about which is why they seem cold, short, or just plain rude. I will agree that the holiday's can definitely bring out negative attitudes in the best of us. Try to stay positive (and maybe stay out of the shopping malls as much as possible!) and you may just make it...shoot, the money stress alone is enough to make it difficult to make it through the next several weeks!
