Today I knew I was going to a winery for dinner and drinks. I have not had alcohol in quite a long time so I decided that tonight I was going to treat myself. The key to splurging is to plan ahead. I knew I wanted to have some wine so I worked out twice as hard today. I did an intense hike to help even out all the liquid calories I was going to consume. I also made sure to leave out my dinner added fat (usually light dressing) and my evening snack. These exchanges help me so that I can have two glasses without my body storing the calories as fat. I'm sure that many of you are going to be splurging with the holidays coming up. Just be extra mindful of what goes into your mouth and increase your workouts and you will be just fine!

1 cup Organic Honey Nut O's
1 cup fat-free organic milk
Banana
Lunch -
1 Italian Veggie Sausage with 1 slice whole wheat bread
Carrots with salsa
fat-free yogurt
sugar-free jello
Snack -
2 clementines
Dinner -
DINED OUT AT A WINERY
Approximately 2 oz. grilled chicken
1/2 baked potato
Salad with fat-free ranch
Snack -
3 glasses of white wine
