Does the Chiropractic adjustment affect anything beyond the top three complaints? Neck Pain, Back Pain and headaches.
I get this question a lot. I hear it from patients. I hear it from friends. I also see many debates on it.
In fact, there is a simple answer and that answer is YES.
This does not mean that Chiropractic care is the cure all as some would have you believe, but it can affect every cell of the body. Of all the 100,000 nerve impulses per second from the brain to the body, only 10% account for pain fibers that you can feel. That means that if you have a pinched nerve, there is only about a 10% chance that you will feel the problem that is being caused. Most likely you will feel the effects months or years down the road as some problem that seems to be stemming from your organs.
Over 80% of my patients surveyed had some other improvement with their health while under my care. This is a health complaint that they did not even tell me about. Chiropractic removes nerve interference. This allows the body to regulate itself. The bottom line is that Chiropractic works great for neck pain, back pain and headaches.
BUT, do not be surprised if other parts of you start feeling or working a little better.
