HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  I have so much to be thankful for this year.  I'm so happy to finally be living up on our farm with my incredible husband and 2 black lab's.  I couldn't ask for better parents and extended family...I even have an amazing family of in-law's - even though sometimes it can be a bit crazy; but, whose aren't?! Tongue out I'm also thankful for my job - I'm a teacher and I couldn't love it more!  I work with a talented, fun group of people and my principal motivates me to be better.  I cherish my friendships.  I know I sound like a burst of cheesy happiness but I have so much to be thankful for and reflecting on it all makes me realize that life is full of up's and down's and things could always be worse.  I'm lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.  Thank goodness Jenny Craig helped me tackle my weight because I feel healthier and happier about myself.  I am also thankful to all of you who continue to read my post's.  I hope you are/have been able to start tackling your weight and start feeling better about yourselves too.  Have a restful, relaxing holiday.

Weight - 119.2 lbs.

Exercise - 1 hr. 30 min. hike


Breakfast -

1/3 cup Buckwheat pancakes with 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup


1 cup fat-free milk

Lunch -

1/4 cup Couscous with Southwestern Chipotle Seasoning (no sodium in this)

Carrots with fat-free ranch

2 oz. grilled chicken nuggets

fat-free yogurt

sugar-free jello

Snack -


Dinner -

Approximately 2 oz. turkey

1 tbsp. stuffing

1 tsp. cranberry relish 

1 tbsp. sweet potato casserole

1 tbsp. low-fat baked sweet potatoes 

1 tbsp. low-fat broccoli casserole

Snack -

1 bite pumpkin pie (no crust)

1 bite of the homemade buckeye cake I made
