4/30/ Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Friday

This pregnancy has been so interesting.  I thought for sure I would stick to my guns and eat exactly like I did before the baby; just adding a few calories by means of fruits.  However, lol, it was just proof that not all my planning turns out how I want it.  Since I've been so sick I have hated meat and vegetables.  Well, that certainly puts a damper on how I choose to eat things; keeping my weight down and baby healthy.  I keep trying chicken and end up picking it out.  The thought of it makes me want to hurl.  I loved salads with ranch almost as much as I loved dessert and now I'm repulsed by it!  The one thing I must emphasize is, if you're craving it when you're pregnant you should probably eat it.  Pregnant women are not recommended to eat hot dogs but one night I was craving it and I thought, "If I really want this I should eat it - it's protein which I'm probably not getting enough of!"
