I was a little worried to start the day yesterday because I spent all day Friday with morning sickness, from the puke on my clothes early in the morning to the sick to my stomach feeling when I feel asleep.  I couldn't even go to my friend's party that night because I was so miserable.  But, thankfully, today has been a great day - morning sickness free!  I woke up and did a 35 minute hike with my husband.  It was intense for several reasons: the heat was already beating down on us even at 9 in the morning, the farmers had just tilled the ground and I felt like I was climbing a never ending flight of stairs, and for whatever reason I'm ten times more tired with physical exertion than I used to be now that I'm pregnant.  I hung in there though!  Shortly after our hike I did about two and a half hours of planting under the hot sun.  Since we are newly established on our farm we have to create all of our own mulch beds...this is more demanding work than I ever realized!  To make the day even better all my cousins had flown in from as far as California to celebrate the wedding (last summer) and now baby showers of one of my cousins who lives extremely far away.  The whole family was there and it was really nice.  My cousins wife and I exchanged horror stories about being pregnant.  I'm hoping that now that it is summer and I'm more relaxed maybe the morning sickness will lessen??  Hey, a girl can hope!


Breakfast - 

3/4 Bran Cereal with 1/4 cup raisins

1 cup fat-free organic milk

Lunch - 

98% fat-free bologna, 2 slices whole wheat bread, tomato, fat-free mayo, lettuce

Fat-free yogurt

Snack -


Dinner - 

1 turkey dog on whole wheat bun

Salad (iceberg, peas, celery, tomatoes, egg, and light ranch)

Snack - 

1 bite of choc. chip cookie, 3 bites of angel food cake with berries and vanilla pudding (hey, at a cookout at least I just tried the dessert; I didn't gorge myself!)
