Continuation of my "walk" on Monday... As I got both of the dogs back in the yard I was shaking. It's just one of those tense situations that leaves your body in shock afterwards. I know to an outside point of view you're probably like, "Why get so worked up, the dog was just doing what is in it's nature." But, I am a person that treats those dogs like they are part of my family. I have completely lost sight that first they are animals, they are my pets, my kids, my loves. I was freaking out that something may have happen to them and I felt awful for the baby raccoon that I was pretty sure was dead since he hadn't moved for awhile. Instantly I'm thinking: do my dogs have rabies now, why were those raccoons outside during the day unless they had rabies, were they all cut up from the raccoon's claws? Truthfully I didn't even have the guts to look. I ran upstairs, leaving them outside, screaming that they were bad dogs for not listening to me because I was so grossed out by them I couldn't even be in the same vicinity without gagging. Then I guess the emotions just took hold of me and I lost it. Yeah, yeah, I am sure pregnancy hormones made it worse but I would've been crying no matter what. I couldn't get those high pitched squeals out of my head. I was shaking and crying uncontrollably and knew I had to get it together to call my husband so I could get some advice on what to do next. FRIDAY Breakfast - 100 calorie English Muffin, 1/4 cup Break-free eggs, 1/4 cup fat-free cheese 3/4 cup strawberries 1 cup fat-free organic milk Lunch - 2 tbsp. hummus on whole wheat pita with cucumbers and tomatoes Fat-free yogurt Snack - 1 cup sugar-free applesauce Dinner - small baked potato with 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese and broccoli on top Snack - 100 calorie pack
