Well, darn, I gained .6 pounds from Friday night.  I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that it was muscle mass from the run and the horseback riding and that it will go back down in a day or so.  If I stay at this weight by Friday when I get weighed in I'll be back on another week of the planned meals.  This is just to speed up and arrive at my goal weight.  I'd like to be on maintenance soon.  Today I've decided to take a day off from exercise and just spend it with my family.  Relaxing is just as important as exercising.  Every now and then you need to just take a day off and free your mind of weight, exercise, etc.  This doesn't mean to go crazy with your eating; rather to give your mind a break from thinking about it all the time.

 I always think there are positives and negatives to having a blog.  The positive is that it's therapeutic for me to write about my feelings on here.  The negative is a blog with a daily focus on healthy eating has me always thinking about weight, exercise, and nutrition.  It's usually positive things or suggestions about what you can do to help your diet but it still has my brain on constant weight mode.  Whether I admit it or not, with an eating disorder, it is pretty much always on my mind.  I tell myself that at least a blog is a healthy, positive outlet for my constant thoughts about it.   If you struggle with your own feelings about your weight, try writing them down.  Who knows?  Writing about them may help you too.  It can begin to become mind numbing for friends and family if that's all you talk about (trust me, I can relate).  Writing your thoughts down can be a way for you to get out what you're feeling without isolating those around you and becoming a boring person.  I've noticed that unless someone asks me for my opinion I don't talk about healthy eating nearly as much as I used to when I was not blogging.
