We went over to a friend's house for dinner over the weekend and she is extremely healthy, like me. This makes it so nice because when I'm on maintenance I will be able to eat what she makes...which isn't always the case when some people have us over for dinner. She made salad and thin crust, whole wheat Boboli pizza crust with light sauce, light cheese, banana peppers, and chunky tomatoes (delicious!). I never thought to put those "add on's" which are "free's" on the JC program. They were spicy tomatoes which is even better, in my opinion! My husband loved it and I love getting easy, good recipes from others. She also suggested I try (Which I will once I'm on maintenance) Edy's Slow Churned Pumpkin Ice Cream. This is an extra bonus since I LOVE pumpkin! If you eat a 1/2 cup it's only 90 calories, 1.5 g fat, and here's what I was really looking for...how much sugar?. I was expecting a "catch" somewhere. But, it's only 12g!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You want to stay at or under 13g of sugar so this is GREAT. I cannot wait to try this.
