Sometimes I just crave a grilled cheese dipped in tomato soup - it's a comfort food from when I was a kid. Wintertime plus being sick last week just had me really wanting this lunchtime favorite. How can you make it but not have all the fat? Well, if you choose the lower sodium tomato soup, 1 cup counts as a 1 starch. If you choose the 40 calorie per slice pieces of bread that counts as 1 starch and then if you put a slice of veggie cheese (only 4g of fat) on it with spray butter on either side, voila! The cheese counts as only 1 meat. The spray butter is "free." This is an extremely low fat meal but it hits the spot when you're just craving something from your childhood.
