I hope you all had a nice and enjoyable Christmas! I wasn't feeling that well but it was still a great time spent with our family. Our festivities started Friday and haven't stopped yet. We celebrate until tomorrow night - needless to say, we're exhausted! How did you do with all the food? It sure was difficult for me, that's for sure. Christmas Eve I did OK, I had a lot of veggies and stuck to just a roll and a little ham. Not too bad if you ask me! I did allow myself to have one homemade sugar cookie with icing. Christmas night I had a much more difficult time because we didn't eat until almost 8 and I was starving. It's always terrible if you get to the point of extreme hunger because then your will power fades. I still had a large plate of low fat Caesar salad but I also had turkey, 2 rolls, a dollup of mashed potatoes, and corn casserole. I would've been fine if I could've stayed away from the corn casserole (which is extremely fatty) and either had a roll or mashed potatoes; not both. Ah well, it could've been worse! The damage? I definitely gained a pound and a half. I'll have to exercise a little harder the next few days.
